Application: The SV5 is a low-pressure device / open for operation with low-pressure fittings, or for operation with foot, hand or small submersible pumps max 0.5 bar. When using a pressure pump, a low-pressure fitting must be used. The device is small and compact and can be easily installed or integrated into existing water systems. The tank is fully insulated (foamed) to reduce heat and energy loss, the water stays warm for 24 hours after the device is switched off. (Like a thermos) With full heating, two to three times the amount of hot water can be extracted by adding cold water, depending on the input temperature. After switching on the device, hot water can be drawn off after 20 minutes. The plastic boiler, manufactured according to drinking water regulations, is vertical, the big advantage: the hot water collects at the top because of the large difference in height and does not mix with the inflowing cold water. It can be used down to the last drop of hot water. Functionality: After pressing the temperature switch on the front, it lights up red (device is in operation) until the set temperature is reached via the temperature controller, then the indicator light goes out and the device switches off although the temperature switch is switched on. (The set temperature is reached) As long as the temperature switch remains switched on, the device will maintain the set temperature, and the heating element is only pulsed briefly. Visible on the indicator light, which then lights up again for a short time. The power consumption is then around 0.5 - 0.8 A/h at a set 65° (ECO position)/depending on the ambient temperature. Security: -The temperature switch and the associated probe switch off the device at a maximum temperature of 85°C. If this system fails, a second separate system steps in, a temperature fuse and the associated temperature sensor switch off the entire device at 92°C. (the second system is purely mechanical and requires no electricity.) -Due to the boiler being installed vertically with the connections at the top, no water can leak out in the event of damage to the installation and thus lead to the boiler overheating.
