- SUNFLOWER VALENTINE SEEDS: A wonderful variety with numerous smaller blooms on bushy plants with an attractive, well branched habit. Easy to grow for sunny borders or for magnificent cut flowers.

- SOW: March to May, FLOWERS: June to October, HEIGHT: 150cm, SPREAD: 60cm, SEEDS: 40 Approx.
- FOR OUTDOOR SOWING: WHEN - March to May. WHERE – In a prepared seed bed in flowering position. HOW - Sow 2 seeds together with 45cm between pairs. Cover lightly with 1.5cm of soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-21 days. CARE - Remove weaker seedlings leaving one per position. Seedlings removed can be transplanted 60cm apart. FLOWERS – June to October.
- FOR INDOOR SOWING: WHEN - March to May. WHERE – In individual pots of seed compost. HOW - Sow singly, cover with 1.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. CARE - Stand outside for a few days late May (avoid frosts). Transplant 60cm apart in flowering position. FLOWERS – June to October.
- TIP: If pests are a problem, start indoors.
- EDIBLE: Seeds harvested from grown plants can be used as snacks and in baking. Seeds in this packet are not for consumption.
