Sunflower 'Soluna Bronze' is a choice Helianthus debilis variety with a graceful, multi-branched habit. The 3-inch flowers shift in colour from warm orange to bronze with a dark chocolate centre, creating a striking display in borders or containers. Its well-branched structure produces many flowerheads throughout the summer, perfect for both garden enjoyment and vase displays. Some parts of the flowers are edible, with seeds suitable for toasting as a healthy snack. Growing Instructions Sow early spring to early summer outdoors where plants will flower. Prepare the soil and rake to a fine tilth. Sow 12mm deep in rows 30cm apart. Germination takes around 21 days. Seeds can also be sown indoors in 7.5cm pots for earlier flowers, germinating in 1–2 weeks at 20°C. Thin seedlings to 30cm apart when large enough. Gradually acclimatise indoor-sown plants before planting outdoors after frost risk has passed. Protect from slugs and snails. Prefers well-drained soil in full sun. Feed and water regularly.
