A mixture of “kaolin” mud and opacifying agents build up and cover the hair, making it opaque. A mixture of beeswax hydrates hair and mud gives it optimal hold. Emollient agents balance hair shaft hydration. Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant, while UV filters protect hair from UV rays.
