Like the traditional String of Hearts succulent, String of Hearts Variegated is a lovely house plant, just with a little extra colourful twist! Its trailing foliage has green, cream and pink heart-shaped fleshy leaves on purple-tinged stems, making a stunning feature that is sure to catch the eye. Place on high shelves or windowsills to allow the foliage to elegantly hang and create a truly show-stopping display. Commonly known as the Rosary Vine, this house plant is easy to grow and care for, making it the perfect attractive house plant for modern, busy households. Position in a warm room away from cold draughts and radiators, with a constant temperature above 10C (50F). Choose a bright, partially shaded position away from the direct glare of hot sun. Ceropegia requires regular watering in summer, allowing the compost to drain thoroughly afterwards. Avoid leaving String of Hearts in standing water as this will cause plant rot. Reduce watering in winter, keeping the compost barely moist. House plants should be fed regularly between March and September when they are in active growth.
