The raw material cellulose is of natural origin - handmade comb made of cellulose acetate. We would like to introduce you to the manufacturing process of the elaborately crafted combs: First step: from the raw product, cellulose acetate plates, strips are produced. Second step: these are cut to the individual comb lengths. In different steps, the edges are bevelled and the prongs are polished. Third step: Now the individual prongs are processed into a wet process - according to the comb type - to a smooth cut. Fourth step: the combs get a final touch and are processed with wood chips for up to 5 days depending on the model. All edges are further sanded and the comb gets the first shine. Fifth step: In a final refinement process, each comb receives its typical, silky shiny look and a silver or gold stamp. Each comb goes through a manufacturing process of up to 10 days.
