How to Grow Instructions Place in a bright spot out of prolonged direct sunlight, such as an east or west-facing windowsill. Water when the compost begins to dry out, avoiding standing water. Feed fortnightly with half-strength high-potash feed from March to September. Cut back spent flower stalks to the base to encourage further blooms. Repot into a slightly larger pot in spring if needed. From October to February, move to a south-facing windowsill if possible, water only when compost dries, and stop feeding.
