About this item
- STRELITZIA REGINAE SEEDS: Patience may be needed but is amply rewarded with the most startling and exotic flowers. Stunning in conservatories and on the patio during the summer months.
- SOW: All Year, FLOWERS: April to July, HEIGHT: 150cm, PREFERS: Full Sun, SEEDS: 10 Approx.
- FOR INDOOR SOWING: WHEN - All year round. WHERE – In pots or trays of moist compost. HOW - For best results soak seed for 24 hours prior to sowing, then remove the orange 'tufts'. Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 25℃, germination may be erratic. Seedlings appear 1-6 months.
- CARE - Remove seedlings as they appear and transplant into individual small pots. Grow on and transplant to larger pots as necessary. Water sparingly, only when compost is dry. Plants can be placed on a sheltered patio in summer but will not survive temperatures below 10℃. It will take several years for plants to mature to flowering. FLOWERS – Mature plants flower April to July.

The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
