2442LP-SL-DF Low Profile Self-Levelling Pedestals for Joists StrataRise Low-Profile 2442 Self-Levelling Pedestals auto adjust for slopes from 0° to 5° and are specially designed for use on sloping surfaces in areas where low threshold heights are encountered. The height adjustment range is from 24mm to 33mm, or 33mm to 42mm with addition of the 9mm height extender ring included with each pedestal. Each support is composed of a threaded self-levelling head section, with 4 tabs 4mm in width for tile or paver spacing. These are individually removable to enable the supports to be used in areas where no separation is required, such as under the centres of large slabs or at edges. An easy to use adjustment ring makes raising or lowering the head quick and precise. Height adjustments can be made without removing the paver or tile thus allowing for easy and fast installation. Each Low-Level 2442 pedestal comes complete with one 9mm extender ring (this can be fitted by lifting the head out of the base, inserting the ring and replacing the head). A large 200mm (8”) base plate provides stable support on most surfaces. Scribe marks are provided on the underside to assist in trimming for use at sides and corners of installations. An optional 3mm thick anti-slip rubber base pad is available for use on membranes, etc. This effectively reduces transmitted noise where pavers are mounted on balconies or roof areas, as well as for floors in multi-occupancy buildings. We recommend the use of our optional acoustic cushioning rings for the support head area for tile and paver installations. These help to bed tile corners securely, prevent any rattling, and reduce transmitted noise through the support system. 2442LP self-levelling pedestal supports are tested to withstand loads of 650Kg at their weakest setting, i.e. maximum height adjustment with just one thread engaged.
