20 squares of RP45 GPH-110 grey foam tape. 25mm square pads, made by 3M from a thin (1.1mm) flexible foam with adhesive on both sides. There is a branded easy-peel liner on one side of the tape and a plain liner on the other. 3M VHB RP45 Tape is a double sided pressure sensitive adhesive tape for bonding a variety of substrates including many metal, plastic and painted materials. VHB RP = Right Performance, Right Product, Right Price. The closed-cell acrylic foam carrier makes the tape extremely conformable. All acrylic construction gives 3M VHB extraordinary strength, conformability and versatility. The tape resists UV and weather damage, making it a great solution for outdoor applications. 3M VHB RP45 bonds to a wide variety of surfaces, including: · Glass · Metal · Some plastics · Composites Sealed wood Application Guidelines For maximum bond strength: the surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned with a 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water. Ideal tape application is accomplished when temperature is between 70°F and 100°F (21°C and 38°C) and the bond is allowed to dwell 72 hours. Initial tape application to surfaces at temperatures below 50°F (10°C) is not recommended.
