This mains-powered LED strip combines high-density COB technology, an 8 mm narrow profile and flexible self-adhesive construction for ceiling lighting, coving, wall outlines and other dry indoor applications. The strip incorporates 240 LEDs per metre and provides a nominal output of approximately 780 lumens per metre with a rated power of approximately 10W/m. Its continuous COB light-emitting surface reduces the appearance of separate bright points, while the wide 180° beam angle distributes the light across a broader area. This makes the COB LED tape suitable for indirect lighting, ceiling recesses, decorative wall lighting and illuminated furniture details. Unlike conventional low-voltage LED tape that requires a separate transformer or power adapter, this 230V mains-powered LED strip light connects directly to a suitable UK household circuit. It is supplied without a plug and has a short 15cm connection lead intended for hardwired installation. All electrical connections must be completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable UK electrical safety requirements. At only 8 mm wide, the narrow LED tape can be installed inside many compatible aluminium profiles and compact decorative gaps. Its flexible structure follows straight runs and gently curved layouts, making it suitable for ceilings, coving, wardrobes, shelving, display cabinets and wall outlines. Avoid sharp bends, twisting or folding across the electrical components. The strip can be shortened every 10cm at the marked cutting points. Disconnect the mains supply completely before cutting, installing or handling the product. Cut only on the indicated marks. End caps and insulation accessories are not included, so every cut end must be correctly terminated and fully insulated with suitable separately purchased components before the strip is connected to power. The self-adhesive backing facilitates initial positioning on smooth, clean and completely dry surfaces. For ceiling installations, long runs or permanent mounting, compatible clips or an aluminium channel are recommended. Mounting clips, screws and aluminium channels are not included in the package. With an IP20 rating, this indoor LED strip is intended exclusively for dry environments. It is suitable for bedroom lighting, living room ambience, hallway lighting, dressing rooms, under cabinet lighting, wardrobes, shelves, ceiling recesses and commercial display areas. It is not waterproof and must not be installed outdoors, in bathrooms, close to sinks or in locations exposed to rain, splashes, condensation or high humidity. Fully unroll the COB LED strip before switching it on to support effective heat dissipation. Never connect or operate the product while it remains coiled on the reel.
