- The shell of Saint Lucia, also known as Eye of Shiva, is originally the operculum of a shell named "Turbo Rugueux" or "Biou" found in certain Mediterranean Sea areas and also in warmer seas such as the Gulf of Thailand or the Sea of Java, among others.
- An operculus is a plaque that develops in the dorsal and back of the foot of the conch and serves to close the opening when the animal retracts inside, constituting a real "door" that prevents access by the most vulnerable area
- In various cultures meeting an Eye of Saint Lucia was synonymous with obtaining love and happiness and there are also numerous historical references that showed it as a remedy against the "evil eye".

The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
