• The ultra-layer titanium UV filter is an absolute high-end product for discerning photographers who place the highest demands on their equipment. • The filter disc consists of a chemically reinforced aluminium silicate glass of Gorilla Glass 3. This glass is made in the USA by American brand Corning. The glass has a Mohs hardness degree of 9. The glass can withstand even the toughest loads. It can withstand a longer shot of fireworks. And it will survive the hitting of a golf ball that is dropped from 3 metres high.
• The filter has a premium ultra-layer multi-layer coating with a total of 62 layers. The coating offers numerous excellent properties. One of them is the reduction of reflections to below 0.7%, which minimises light loss through reflection. The coating has an anti-static effect. And it creates a lotus effect. All this makes the glass resistant to water, dust, dirt, grease and oil. For this reason, water simply rolls off.
• The precision manufactured filter holder has first-class properties. The frame is made of aluminium. It is matt black anodized to avoid reflections. The setting is only approx. 3 mm high, so you can use the filter even on strong wide angle lenses. Nevertheless, the socket has a front thread for screwing in another filter or a lens hood. In addition, the only 1.6 mm thin glass and the correspondingly low aluminium frame make the filter ultra-light.
