Merrill SSMB225 1-1/4 in. Pitless adapter is used to connect submersible well pump discharge pipe to the horizontal pipe entering the house. The adapter comes in 2-pieces that slide together creating a water tight seal. This allows the pump to be removed from the well for service without digging up the horizontal run of pipe. Extra-Wide Brass Nut accommodates wrench for easier installation. Bottom of the Male Part and the Top of the Female part are Tapered for an easy connection. Buna-N O-rings for a tight seal. Solid no lead brass meets federal low lead regulations.
