- "【High-performance Welding Rod】The Stainless Steel E309L-16 3/32 Electrode Welding Rod 309L-16 offers excellent performance with a low spatter tendency. It provides a weld deposit E309-16 with a reduced carbon content of up to 04% for enhanced resistance to intergranular .
- 【 Application】This welding rod is for stainless steel to stainless steel, as well as stainless steel to carbon or low alloy steel joints. It is particularly suitable for carbon or low alloy steels and heat-treated dissimilar joints. Choose E309L-16 for superior results.
- 【Careful Suggestions】For electrodes with diameters of 0mm and 1.2mm, it is important to adjust the current slowly and carefully, especially for those new to welding or working with thin plates. A 1.4mm electrode is recommended for welding thin plates around 0.5mm to stability. Always check the current range of the electrode to avoid unnecessary troubles.
- 【Specification and Packing】This welding rod conforms to GB/T983 E308-16 and E308-16 standards. Available in various diameters and lengths, ranging from 1.0mm to 4.0mm and 250mm to 350mm respectively. Each pack includes 10PCS of electrodes.
Product description
feature: Good performance: low spatter tendency. describe: E309L-16 provides a weld deposit E309-16, but with a reduced carbon content (up to 0.04%) for improved resistance to intergranular . Type E309L-16 is for for stainless steel to itself or to carbon or low alloy steel. E309L-16 is more suitable than E309-16 for cladding of carbon or low alloy steels and heat treated dissimilar joints. suggestion: -1.0mm and 1.2mm electrodes have strict requirements on the current of the welding machine and need to be adjusted slowly. It is not recommended for beginners and those who are new to welding to use thin plate welding, especially below 1mm. 1.0mm and 1.2mm electrodes are too thin for welding. It will rock back and forth. For customers with rich welding experience, if they want to weld a thin plate of about 0.5mm, they can choose a 1.4mm electrode. Please check the current range of the electrode current before , so as not to cause unnecessary trouble to both parties. - The electrode should be baked at 300-350℃ for 1 hour before welding. - Try to use DC power supply, the current should not be too large.
