The high-quality fibre is derived from psyllium husk, rhubarb, broccoli, flaxseed, sugar beet fibre, prune, fenugreek seed, apple pectin, fig fruit, carrot and fennel seed - all naturally high-fibre foods and herbs. This high-fibre complex will provide you with a quick and easy daily source of both insoluble and soluble fibre (key ingredients for a healthy, varied and balanced diet). The sugar beet fibre in this formula contributes to an increase in faecal bulk in two ways: the insoluble components of the sugar beet fibre increase faecal bulk by absorbing water in the large intestine, while the soluble components are fermented by bacteria in the large intestine leading to an increase in bacterial mass.
