Description: Photodiode module is most sensitive to environmental light intensity , generally used for detecting the ambient brightness and light intensity. When ambient light intensity does not reach the threshold value, the module DO port output high lever; When the ambient light intensity exceeds a set threshold, the D0 output low lever. Digital outputs D0 can be directly connected with the microcontroller. Can detect the brightness and the ambient light intensity (compared with photo-resistor, this module has better directionality , can sense light in fixed direction) Adjustable sensitivity (adjust by the blue digital potentiometer) Application: Light intensity detection, intelligent light module, with directional, only sense light source in front of the sensor, better to use for searching light.
