- Select a pull pin that matches the center hole of the gear. Place the two jaws of the puller under the gear to be removed. Pass the selected pin through the center hole of the gear and screw it into the top of the puller's master screw. Rotate the T-handle clockwise and push the pin downwards to pull the gear directly off the shaft.
- Proper alignment: Ensure that the puller claws are evenly positioned under the gears to avoid uneven force that could damage the components.
