- The drywall ceiling access panel is made of ABS, which is waterproof and rustproof, and is suitable for bathrooms, basements, and kitchens. The hinged door features a concealed-frame design for quick, easy access to various equipment. The click-tight closure design prevents the cover from falling off when used on ceilings
- First, after confirming there are no electrical wires or pipes behind the drywall, mark the appropriate opening size on the drywall. Cut along the marked lines with a drywall saw. Second, apply construction adhesive to the back edge of the access panel. Third, press the panel firmly into the opening until the back edge is flush with the wall. After the adhesive has completely dried, the panel is ready to use. The panel has pre-drilled screw holes for screw installation
- Before cutting, always verify that no electrical wires, water pipes, or gas lines are hidden behind the drywall. Cut exactly the required opening size – not the outer frame size – otherwise the flange cannot cover the hole. Do not stand or step on the panel. Ensure sufficient clearance for the hinged door to swing open fully
