  • Fiber joint for connection is used for sealing cold and hot sanitary water installations: tap head, drain or drain plug, drain valve. Suitable for drinking water circuits.
  • The fiber joint allows the sealing of heating and plumbing circuits for hot and cold water.
  • The fiber joint is placed on the connector to seal when tightened. do not tighten your connector too tightly on your fiber joint, you risk damaging it.
  • The fiber joint (cellulose) is one of the most common gaskets. Mainly used to seal heating installations and cold and hot water circuits, it withstands a maximum temperature of 70°C.
  • Fiber joints gradually moisten and are put in place (swell) after a few hours/day, sometimes requiring a slight wrench of only a few degrees on the mechanical connector to stop a micro leak. Joints deteriorate more or less quickly over time, which can lead to leaks: connections with joints must be checked regularly and avoid hiding them behind partitions, for example. Each time a connector is worked on, you must install a new joint.
