About this item
  • Bahtinov masks make focusing for astrophotography an easy task. Watch the two slanted areas create an "x" over the star. The vertical slits create a moving bar that is centered on the x when you are at focus.
  • Even get over the seeing conditions as it is a mathematical type approach to the task.Watch the two slanted areas create an "X" over the star. The vertical slits create a moving bar that is centered on the X when you are at focus
  • They are made from 2mm thick laser cut plexiglass and the mounting screws are covered with soft plastic so they will not damage your telescope when mounting a telescope. Depending on the model, they have an adjustment range of about 75mm-125mm in the aperture, which makes them very versatile.
  • The masks grip the telescope tube gently but firmly with three brass screws which have soft transparent nylon cover to protect you valued telescope surface. This prevents slippage, whilst allowing the mask to remaining perfectly central. Because of this 3-post mounting, the mask remains centered, whilst fitting a wider range of telescopes.
  • Light weight so you wont upset the balance on your scope.so when put up the mask๏ผŒyou need not to adjust the telescope twice

I wrote to Bigamart's customer support and they accompanied the process of reshipping the item until it finally arrived. I felt a genuine effort to solve the problem till it was finally solved.
