• Casing: the patented shock-absorbing mounting of the tape and the specially reinforced ABS plastic housing protect the tape measure. Even after a fall from 5 m height, the tape measure remains fully functional.
• Band brake: the ergonomically shaped band brake of the Sola roll meter locks exactly into place without moving the band. This allows extremely precise measurements where the scale cannot be read during measurement, e.g. for internal measurements.
• Movable end hook: the end hook of the tape measure is made of impact-resistant plastic with non-slip rubber attachment. It is movably mounted and balances the hook thickness - for accurate internal and external measurements.
• Strap: The 25 mm wide steel band is equipped with a highly abrasion-resistant yellow anti-reflective coating. Thanks to the precise digital printing process of the scale, the measuring tape 8 m achieves a measuring accuracy of ±0.9 mm (corresponds to EC accuracy class I).
• The transparent tape reinforcement on the top allows for direct reading of the scale at the beginning of the band. The fully integrated damper ensures gentle braking of the end hook when retracting the tape.
