ORGELWERKE (SAMTLICHE) ORGUE

As previously done with Bruhns, Scheidt, and Sweelinck, this edition of Harald Vogel represents a practical source edition. It attempts to exploit the information content of the sources and, as far as practice allows, lean as closely as possible to the original notation. Vogel does not use editorial additions through analogy formations in order to introduce the user close to the original. The detailed commentation of the editor not only deals with the works, but also on the instruments that the composer had available in Flensburg, Stade and Hamburg.
