This is an authentic Moroccan cooking Tagine made for the souk in Tangier and bought by the local householders. The tagines are not e entirely hand-made in traditional potteries, where they are commonly stored on concrete floors. Small chips to the base and lid are usual and do not constitute faults. A healthy way of cooking that exotic Moroccan feast or alternatively a stew. Truly a great experience. Height: 16cm X 20cm Diameter: 22cm maximum. As each tagine is hand thrown, these measurements will vary and are for guidance only. We recommend that this tagine is used in the oven at a low temperature below 170 c (130 to 150 is ideal for slow cooking) for melt in the mouth meat. To use on a gas or electric stove (not suitable for a ceramic hob) you must use a heat diffuser/simmer ring. Not dishwasher safe. Kindly note that as this item is entirely hand-made, there may be some minor imperfections which only adds character to the item.Please also note the pattern might slightly vary.Although it might be similar it might not be exactly the same.
