The Audio Anatomy record mat is made from a 1.5 mm thick blend of cork and nitrile rubber. With a diameter of 295 mm, the support fits all turntables. Due to the insulating properties of the mixture of cork and nitrile rubber, harmful resonances are avoided. Unlike felt mats, cork and nitrile rubber additionally prevents electrostatic charge and thus avoids crackling and cracking when playing the record.
