Smith and Allan Slideway oils are formulated and manufactured using only the highest quality mineral virgin base stocks, incorporating multifunctional additives which offer excellent lubrication performance of machine tool slides, tables and feed mechanisms. Their superior tackiness and stick-slip characteristics offer excellent frictional performance on slideways, favourable demulsification properties allow for high exposure to soluble cutting fluids. These products may be used to lubricate machine tool slideways, tables and feed mechanisms. They may also be used for the lubrication of hydraulic and gearbox systems, where viscosity is appropriate.
