What is a SL-ice block? The SL-ice block is a mould filled with water which is frozen. The resulting ice block is placed over the bottle necks of beverage crates to achieve a cooling effect. Dimensions: For 0.33 ml beer boxes. It’s that easy: Freeze. Fill the ice mould with 2 litres of cold water up to the mark. Place the mould in the freezer. Make sure it is on a solid and horizontal level (maximum - 40°). Tip: Fill the mould when in the freezer. Cool. After the water is fully frozen, take the ice out of the mould and carefully place in the box (not with force or hot water, otherwise the ice will crack). Now, depending on the outlet temperature, the drink will cool down to 10° in 30 minutes, and already cooled crates will stay cool for hours. Enjoy. To remove a bottle, grip and lift one of the two middle bottle necks. The ice block will now hang on the neck of a bottle and one bottle can be removed from the crate. Advice for use: Fill the mould in the freezer. Protect from wind and sun. Enhance the cooling effect by stacking several boxes. Start removing bottles from the inside and slide the corner bottles inwards. Always have a frozen ice block frozen in stock - you never know what might happen. The SL-ice block is made in Germany.
