- Water & Maintenance: Position the plant in partial shade and avoid full sun as that can cause damage to the leaves colour. Moist, well-drained soil is best for it, as well as watering it well in the first year whilst it establishes itself. Prolonged, drier periods of the year should also see more consistent watering.
