HOCKEY SKATES usually have an aggressive ROH of 3/8" or less so we offer an Upgrade Kit for the standard SkateMate sharpener. This kit contains 2 Smaller diameter honing cylinders plus Mylar cradle for sharpening, reshaping and conditioning blades with ultra small (less than 3/8 inch) ROH. Whilst a standard SkateMate will sharpen these blades well, this keeps the ROH better over the long term.
