Kolinsky BRUSH SILVER SERIES - Size 0 The Kolinsky SILVER SERIES range of brushes from Green Stuff World is expertly handmade with a high quality wooden handle and a natural Kolinsky hair tip, fused by a brass ferrule. For both amateurs and experts, the SILVER SERIES range of Kolinsky brushes will provide a smooth and crisp painting experience. These brushes work best with water-based acrylic paints, especially fine techniques like washing, blending and layering. They are generally recommended for any technique that requires a more diluted medium rather than dry or single pass brushing techniques. This type of natural bristle ensures high water and paint absorption and excellent elasticity, which makes it a very technical brush. Natural brushes require more care than synthetic brushes to avoid loss of firmness and broken hairs. To keep your kolinsky brushes in good condition we recommend you clean them thoroughly and quickly after use and shape them with our Brush Repair Gel. After cleaning, let them sit with the bristles pointing upwards to avoid deforming the tips. We do not recommend the use of Kolinsky brushes for oil painting, as the products used to clean the bristles can deteriorate Kolinsky natural hair. Good maintenance of these brushes will ensure their longevity.
