Product description
Yellow gas tape provides an airtight seal for gas pipe fitting and installation work. Lubricates threaded joints during assembly to enable tighter, deeper connection and helps prevent bi-metal corrosion. Suitable for use on cast iron, steel, alloys, plastic, brass and ceramic pipes and fittings. Suitable for pipework carrying potable gases or hot water. Tape thickness: 0.1mm. Roll size (W x L): 12mm x 5m. Complies with BS EN751-3:1997. For the equivalent water-specific PTFE tape, search for Silverline 250475 white-type.
