Product Description The active ingredient in Silica gastro-intestinal direct is ultrafine (colloidal) Silicic acid gel, The mineral silicon (si) combined with oxygen and water. Its exceptional ability to bind pathogens and their toxins in the gastrointestinal tract by means of a purely physical process and these are then excreted naturally via the colon. Symptoms are relieved and regeneration of the disturbed gastrointestinal tract is supported. In addition to pathogens, the Silicic acid gel also binds gases and can also reduce troublesome bloating and flatulence. Indications A Medical Device, Silicea Gastro-Intestinal Gel Direct sachets contain pure mineral Silica for the treatment of acute and chronic gastro-intestinal illnesses, such as diarrhoea, stomach ache, nausea and heartburn. Ingredients 100ml gel contains 100ml silica gel (silicic acid gel) with 3.5g of silicon dioxide. Directions Children and adults: take 2 x 15 ml measuring spoons in water or tea between meals 3-5 times a day and if required immediately before going to bed for acute discomfort. Use can be continued for a few days after the acute discomfort has subsided with a dose of 1 x 15 ml measuring spoon 3 times a day.
