It can be used as a maintenance coat for existing wood stain systems or over a base stain of Citole HLS on new or bare timbers. Citole Filter 7 is an exterior wood stain for windows and doors, either as a one-coat maintenance application for existing wood stain systems or two coats over a base stain of Citole HLS on new or bare timbers. Its advanced UV light absorbers provide superior protection from the damaging effects of sunlight on timber. It is not, however, suitable for decking or other areas subjected to high levels of abrasion. Directions 1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust and grease. 2. Apply the stain using a brush or roller, ensuring even coverage. 3. Allow the stain to dry according to the recommended drying time. 4. Apply a second coat if necessary, following the same steps. 5.
