Sika Imprimousse is an open-cell, single-sided self-adhesive, resin-impregnated pre-compressed foam designed to compress into the joint between two elements to ensure air and water resistance. Technical information: Application temperature: from +5°C. The dimension of the deep pressure SIKA must not be below the maximum joint width. How to use: remove the rolls from the packaging when applying. Cut the strapping tape as well as the first and last centimetres of SIKA print. Apply SIKA lightly in the joint, on dry, flat and sufficiently firm surfaces by removing the protective film from the adhesive when starting. Installation of carpentry: as a support piece: lay out wedges with a minimum thickness of 5 mm. INDOOR APPLICATION: Apply the strip to the dust-free surface instead of carpentry, starting with the horizontal strips, then with the vertical strips. Increase the length of the vertical strips by 1 cm for connection by twin with the horizontal strips. In the tunnel: apply the strip to the dusted carpentry, starting with the horizontal strip in the lower part, then with the vertical strips and at the end with the horizontal strip in the upper part. Increase the length of the horizontal strips by 1 cm to cover the disc of the vertical strips. Squeeze moderately with your hand to adjust the shape of the holder. Cut to desired length with scissors or utility knife. The tape must be fitted: without joining, partially horizontal, with a vertical rise of at least 100mm on either side of a rejingot. End-to-end tape connections: cuts at 90° of the ends to be connected. The ends of the two strips are pressed together before they are placed on the surface. Allow 1 cm length for the ends to be connected.
