Sikaflex-146 Wood is a special soft glue putty, it allows to fix wooden elements such as skirting, paneling, baguette, champlate, corner, finishing profile, moulding and counterstep and to make vertical and horizontal joints around the glued elements. It can be used on concrete, masonry, stones, glazed tiles, metal, glass, rigid PVC, raw wood, OSB or chipboard. Technical information: Application temperature: +5°C to +40°C. Curing speed: about 3mm/24h. Skin formation time: about 35min. Consumption: a cartridge of 290 ml makes it possible to produce about 15 m of cord. Application method: Applies to clean, dry substrate free of dirt, oil, grease, cement milk. After the necessary preparation of the supports, open the end of the cartridge before or after insertion into the putty gun and then screw the nozzle. Apply in cords, strips or pads several centimeters apart. Use only manual pressure to place the elements to be glued to the appropriate position before the sealant forms a skin. Mispositioned elements can be easily repositioned for the first few minutes after application. Press again. If necessary, use temporary adhesive strips, wedges or accessories for holding the assembled elements during polymerization. Fresh, unpolymerized, persistent putty glue on the surface should be removed immediately. The final strength will be obtained after complete polymerization of Sikaflex-146 Wood, that is, after 24 to 48 hours at +23 ° C, depending on climatic conditions and the thickness of the putty-glue layer.
