Shires Highlander Plus 50 Turnout Neck Cover

• Lightweight insulated neck cover for temperate conditions: The Highlander Plus 50g Neck Cover features 50g polyfill insulation, providing light warmth and helping to regulate moisture build-up around the neck. It is ideal for horses requiring extra protection during cooler, unsettled weather without the bulk of heavier insulation.
• Durable ripstop construction for long-lasting performance: Made from ShireTex 1200 denier ripstop fabric, the neck cover delivers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. The ripstop weave helps prevent small tears from spreading, ensuring greater durability and resilience during regular turnout use.
• Waterproof and breathable comfort: Designed with a PFC-free waterproof outer and taped seams, the neck cover offers 3000mm waterproof protection and 3000g/m² breathability. The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish encourages water to bead and run off the fabric, helping to prevent saturation in wet conditions.
• Secure and easy-to-use attachment system: The neck cover attaches securely to the rug using touch-close loops that connect to three D-rings, while quick-fit touch-close neck straps provide a snug, adjustable fit. This simple fastening system allows for quick attachment and removal as weather conditions change.
• Practical and easy to maintain: Designed to integrate seamlessly with Highlander Plus turnout rugs, the neck cover enhances overall weather protection while maintaining comfort and freedom of movement. It is also machine washable, making it easy to keep clean and ready for everyday use.
