The 8 times braided line Shimano Kairiki 8 has been revised and improved. This line, produced in Japan, is now manufactured using a special braiding technology, the VT Construction Method . It is a very strong and smooth PE line that is perfect for casting long distances. It is available in diameters from 0.06 millimetres to 0.42 millimetres with an amazing breaking strength of 46.7 kilograms. It has the perfect properties for both freshwater and saltwater spinning, as it is very sensitive and smooth, which also greatly reduces noise. In addition to the colours light green and steel grey, two other colours are now available. A clearly visible yellow version and a multicolour version now complement the colour palette. The multicolour is particularly useful for fishing in greater depths. Due to its smoothness and small diameter, the new Kairiki 8 is a great jigging line as it has low water resistance and is very sensitive due to its maximum elongation of under 3.0 per cent.
