The new Kairiki 8 Shimano is the new version of the first Kairiki, still made in Japan, but with a braiding technology called "VT construction method". This PE braid is very strong and smooth, for longer casting distances. It is available from diameter 0.05mm to 0.43mm, with a maximum resistance of 46.5kg for the latter. It is ideal for all casting fishing, both in fresh water and in the sea as it is very sensitive, smooth and quiet. In addition, in addition to green (Mantis Green) and grey (Steel Grey), it is now available in yellow (highly visible) and multi-coloured (for deep fishing). The Kairiki 8 is finally a very good braid for jigging because it benefits from low water resistance and elasticity of less than 3%.
