The PLANET GT-1205A Gigabit SFP Media Converter has been expanded with 2 Gigabit SFP slots, enhanced redundant function and other features: ■ DIP switch for 3-port operation in Gigabit switch mode or redundant mode ■ Redundant hardware fiber connector Very comfortable and stretchy The GT-1205A is equipped with a 10/100/1000BASE-T port and two Gigabit SFP slots to support conversion between 10/100/1000BASE-T and 1000BASE-X networks. Dual SFP slots allow for simple and efficient connection of Ethernet signals by adding single mode or multimode media modules or combining the two types. The GT-1205A offers high reliability and flexibility to extend the media transmission distance up to 550m, 10km or more, depending on the optional SFP 1000BASE-SX / LX transceiver modules.
