• This mechanism is applicable to many other brands of CD players and HiFi, as many manufacturers use SF-P101N la sers.
• If your CD player or HiFi comes with an SF-P101N laser, you can replace the entire mechanism, which will provide a very effective repair because all moving parts in the CD reading mechanism will be replaced.
• The la ser model is printed on the housing of the la ser. So if your faulty la ser is printed with SF-P101N, then this is your mechanism. Simply count the number of pins on the edge connector to verify that there are 16 of them.
• However, please note that there are two versions of the SF-P101N la ser. One has 16 pins on the la ser ribbon connector and the other has 15 pins.
