- Metal zip: The separable zip wide metal teeth (5 mm chain) and standard metal slider (sledge) is an easy-to-open fastener for various textiles, clothing, shoes and bags. The zip is also called zip closure, zip, zip or zip. The metal profile closure is not waterproof and airtight.
- Versatile: These zippers are suitable for jeans, parkers, pencil cases, jackets, coats, trousers, anorak, latex, upholstery, suitcases, mattresses, and many other uses. Particularly suitable for most types of jackets, but not for very thin and fine or very thick jackets (e.g. Mororrad jackets). The zippers are ideal for adding / sewing projects, crafts, etc.
- Care instructions: We recommend using graphite or wax for long-lasting ease of movement of zips. You can also use a candle or a soft pencil. These zips should be closed during washing, otherwise the metal teeth will wear off the remaining laundry.
- Determine the correct length: The length of the zip always refers to the length of the zip rail. The fabric band with separable zips at the top is at least 1 cm longer, with non-separable zips at the top and bottom, at least 1 cm longer than the rail.
- Dimensions and variants: Rail width (staple) approx. 5 mm. Total width: approx. 30 mm. The zips are available in length and colour. In the variant selection, you can determine the colour and the length yourself. Important note: The standard slider of the zip may have an edged or round pendant / handle depending on availability. The colour of the slider comes in br, antique gold or silver.
