SENSONIS Weighted Teddy Sausage Dog, Weighted Plush Dog, Dachshund Gifts

• Weighted teddy for adults and children, with adjustable weight up to 2 kg. Weighted shoulder wrap distributes its weight evenly across the shoulders, providing a gentle, comforting sense of embrace and stability.
• A weighted sausage dog designed to support proprioceptive therapy. It helps reduce stress and tension while promoting calm, relaxation, and emotional regulation.
• The gentle pressure can help increase the sense of security, which may be beneficial during moments of heightened arousal or difficulty regulating emotions. A weighted shoulder wrap is more comfortable to use than a weighted plush toy.
• Weighted plush toys are often chosen as a sensory support aid for autistic people and those with ADHD. They can help support focus and concentration while studying, reading, doing homework, or working.
• A handmade anxiety teddy in form of a dachshund, designed and crafted in Europe. The set also includes two microwavable heat packs with cherry stones inside that provide gentle, soothing warmth when heated.
• Adjust the plushie’s weight to suit individual needs using removable weighted bags filled with a specially formulated fine-grain sand blend. The bags feature reinforced stitching and separate compartments to ensure the weight is distributed evenly.

Product description Sensory anti-stress weighted plush for children and adults: The soft sensory plush is designed for deep pressure therapy. Thanks to its shape, it rests comfortably on the body, and the evenly distributed weight applies gentle pressure, providing a pleasant feeling of being hugged and grounded. How to choose the right weight for your sensory wrap: 1 kg – Ideal for younger children (over 10 kg) and individuals with higher sensory sensitivity who prefer gentle, moderate pressure. 1.5 kg – A balanced option for older children, teens, and adults. Provides noticeable yet balanced pressure. 2 kg – Best for adults and children who need stronger, deeper stimulation to help release muscle tension. By adjusting the number of weighted bags, the overall weight can be adapted to individual needs and preferences. Calms, relaxes, and increases the sense of safety: The weighted shoulder collar helps reduce stress and tension while bringing calm and relaxation. The deep pressure increases the sense of safety, which can be especially helpful during moments of overstimulation, fatigue, or difficulty regulating emotions. Weighted plush items are often chosen as sensory support for people on the autism spectrum or with ADHD. Supports focus and concentration: The plush can support focus and concentration during studying, reading, homework, or work. The gentle localized weight acts as a “body anchor,” making it easier to remain engaged in one activity for a longer period. It is also a thoughtful gift idea for a child who struggles to concentrate, as well as for an adult who has difficulty maintaining attention during thinking, working, or planning and needs a simple way to reduce sensory overload. Safe, eco-friendly filling: For weighting, we use only natural and safe materials. We care deeply about safety, which is why we do not use glass, glass beads, or metal pellets that could pose a risk to children if the inserts were damaged or torn. The weighted inserts are filled with a special blend based on certified, fine-grained European sand. They have very strong seams and include internal pockets that keep the weight evenly distributed, providing stable and predictable pressure. The cotton heating inserts are filled with cherry pits sourced from certified organic European farms. Additional heat packs: The set includes additional heating packs filled with cherry pits, which provide pleasant, gentle warmth after being heated. This thermal stimulus helps the body relax, increases comfort, and is especially soothing on colder days. It is an excellent complement to the weighted effect: the combination of calming pressure and warmth supports evening relaxation, quiet activities, and moments when the body needs to feel “wrapped” and comforted. Simply place the packs in the microwave for a short moment or warm them in an electric oven, then put them into the plush’s pocket. The warm insert not only provides gentle heat but also carries a light, natural cherry aroma. The cherry-pit pack can be reused many times. It can also be used as a cold compress - just cool it in the refrigerator or a freezer. Sensory support for relaxation and focus: The Sensonis weighted plush toy is a simple and enjoyable way to support daily sensory needs. Its soft fabric and different textures make touching it pleasant and inviting. The filling, made from a special fine-grain sand blend, provides evenly distributed, soothing pressure and creates a satisfying feeling when squeezed. The cherry pit inserts can be warmed up or cooled down, adding another sensory experience through different temperatures. They are also great for gentle squeezing and provide a natural, comforting feeling. These different sensations can help with relaxation, reduce tension, and improve focus.
