Product Description Natural seawater (NSW) concentration of iodide is 0.06 mg/L. Ideally, it is advisable to maintain iodide close to NSW concentration. Concentrations above NSW may not be harmful, and, within limits, may even be beneficial, but maintenance at elevated concentrations should be considered experimental. Directions To use the Seachem MultiTest Iodine and Iodide Test Kit, follow these steps: 1. Fill the test tube with the water sample to be tested. 2. Dip the test strip into the water sample for exactly 5 seconds. 3. Remove the strip and wait for 10 seconds. 4. Compare the color of the strip to the color chart provided in the kit to determine the iodine or iodide level. 5. For validation, use the reference sample provided with the kit to ensure accurate results. This kit is intended for use in aquariums.
