Indian Almond bark has the same properties as Indian Almond tree leaves, only much more intense. It is also better suited as decoration or hiding place for the aquarium’s inhabitants. The effect of Indian almond bark also lasts much longer. Catappa leaves, Indian almond leaves. We receive this special kind of Indian almond leaves exclusively from national parks in Cambodia and process them in a unique, particularly gentle process. Nano = approximately 10 cm or 1 gram per sheet. XL = approximately 20 cm or 2 grams per sheet. XXL = approximately 30 cm or 3 grams per sheet. Indian almond leaves have proven their worth in fish-keeping, as they have an antiseptic effect and are carriers for microorganisms that provide a natural habitat and thus provide a vital basic supply for shrimps and fish. Furthermore, the active ingredients of the leaves protect against bacterial diseases such as fin rot and fungus, hole sickness in cichlids, ectoparasites, mucous membrane damage, injuries and gill worms. The leaves come from the Asian sea almond tree and are harvested, cleaned, smoothed and dried at the optimum time. A 20 cm leaf length on 80 litres of water per week has proven to be the best. This ensures that the water is continuously supplied with the valuable ingredients and that the decomposition state necessary for the maximum well-being of the aquarium inhabitants is provided. The PH-value is lowered slightly, the conductivity changes minimally.
