• The design of the quaich features a traditional Celtic eternal knot in the center of the bowl, surrounded by never-ending eternal knots. The e or eyelets of the quaich also have a Celtic interlace design that symbolises eternal life. This is really a nice gift.
• Supplied in a satin lined gift box with a story card featuring the history of quaich and Celtic design. Traditionally crafted lead pewter quaich, made in Ayrshire, Scotland, from one of the last remaining Scottish pewter mills. Quaich measures 13 cm from to handle and the bowl of the quaich has a diameter of approx. 3.5 in.
• Traditionally offered as a mug of welcome or farewell gift, the word quaich is derived from the Gaelic "cuach" meaning "flat cup". This simple mug comes with two handles or colloquially "Lugs" was originally made of wood, horn or leather and later in tin and silver.
