Overview: The company was founded in 1985 as Double J (Midlands) Ltd. was founded, specializing in supplying parts for the wheelchair and bicycle industry. Managing director Philip Taylor and his brother already had experience in bicycle manufacturing. In May 2008, Schwalbe UK Ltd in Telford moved into a state-of-the-art special facility. Storage capacity is a third larger than the previous warehouse and has ample land on site that can be expanded by a further 50 percent if required.
