• International Harvester (IH) based in Chicago, Illinois was born in August of 1902 by the association of McCormick Harvesting Machine Company, Deering Harvester Company, Plano Harvester Co., Milwaukee Harvester Co. and Warder, Bushnell & Glessner Co.
• A German subsidiary was founded with the International Harvester Company m. b. H. in Neuss in 1908, which initially only sells products imported from the USA by International Harvester.
• From 1911 the first agricultural machines were made in Neuss and in 1937 the production of tractors was added.
• However, the International 4166 Turbo heavy 4x4 kink handlebar manufactured in the years 1972 to 1976.
• Its 7145 cc 6-cylinder turbo engine performed stately 178 HP and made the 6300 kg tractor a powerful working horse for those times.
