Since the pieces were published in 1878, they have become part of the standard educational Piano literature and make a necessary addition to the Schirmer Performance Editions. Includes a CD of all the songs recorded by the editor, Alexandre Dossin. Dossin is a graduate of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory and received first prize at the 2003 Martha Argerich Intenational Piano Competition.
