If you hold your sieve carrier directly under the grinder, you will usually have a tapered pile of coffee powder in the sieve after the grinding process. If you then make the mistake of directly feeding the coffee grounds to a tamper, you get a coffee puck that is much denser in the centre. As the water seeks the path of least resistance during the brewing process, less water will run through the more compressed centre of the coffee puck and insufficiently extract the valuable aromas from the coffee grounds. With our Speciale TRE Distributor you distribute the ground coffee directly after the grinding, including into the edge areas of the sieve, so that the coffee puck has the same density and the extraction is perfect. The working depth of the Distributor is variably adjustable from 5 mm to 13 mm and can be easily adjusted by hand. Instructions for the Distributor are included (English language not guaranteed).
