Product Description When minor injuries occur it's important to clean and treat wounds properly to reduce the risk of infection, Savlon Cream will help you with that. Savlon Antiseptic Cream is suitable for both adults and children to cleanse and reduce the risk of infection in minor wounds, cuts and grazes, and superficial burns. How to use: Clean and dry the affected area thoroughly, gently apply the cream using clean hands. Apply a small amount to the affected area and repeat the application as required. For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, middle ear, meninges and other nervous tissues. If you experience any side effects or allergic reactions stop using immediately and seek medical advice. Always read the label. Suitable for all members of your family. Store all medicines out of sight and reach of children and pets. Do not store above 25 degrees Celcius. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the end of the tube. Use within 12 months of opening. If symptoms persist, please consult your GP. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, especially Chlorhexidine as it may cause allergic reactions. Cetostearyl alcohol may cause local skin reactions. Parahydroxybenzoates may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed). While allergic reactions are rare stop using and seek medical help if you experience: difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, tongue or throat, dizziness, skin irritation or rash. Savlon Antiseptic Cream contains the active substances Cetrimide and Chlorhexidine Digluconate. It is used for the cleansing and prevention of skin infections in first aid (minor burns, small wounds, insect bites and stings) and minor skin problems (including blisters and sores, chapped skin, nappy rash, spots, blackheads and sunburn). Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist have told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Wash hands thoroughly before and after the application. Clean the affected area with clean water and pat dry. Gently apply the cream to the wound using your fingers or gauze. For cuts and small wounds, protect the affected area with a plaster or non-adherent dressing. Burns and scalds are left uncovered.
